Hi Ange Thanks for your submission. I have taken the liberty of lightening it up so we can see it better. This phenomena is known as a persistent pupillary membrane, which is a frequently encountered congenital anomaly seen in routine ophthalmologic practice. It is a remnant of the anterior portion of the tunica vasculosa lentis, which is the vascular structure that nourishes the crystalline lens in utero.The client is usually asymptomatic, and the sign rarely affects vision. Josef Angerer claimed that it indicates a tubercular burden from 2 - 3 generations back. I hope this is useful to you. Toni
